WA Governor’s School STEM Awards

The Governor's School STEM Awards are open to all primary and secondary schools in WA and will close on August 22. Now in their third consecutive year, the awards encourage best practice in STEM education.

Applications for the 2017 Governor's School STEM Awards are now open and will close on August 22, 2017.

The awards are open to all primary and secondary schools in Western Australia and aim recognise excellence in STEM education.

Now in their third consecutive year, the awards encourage best practice in STEM education in WA schools by recognising school principals and leadership teams for their support and leadership in developing their schools' STEM education programs during 2017.

Prizes for primary and secondary schools include:

  • $2,000 Leadership Excellence Award (winner)
  • $1,000 Meritorious Leadership Award (runner-up)
  • an invitation for a number of staff and students to visit Government House including a house tour and refreshments
  • a Scitech visit for up to 90 students.
