NSW budget offers $100 voucher to get kids into sport

NSW families will be able to claim up to $100 per school child, per calendar year from 1 January 2018 for after-school, weekend and school holiday sport and active recreation activities.

NSW government has announced a $100 rebate for family sporting and fitness related costs in the latest budget.

$207 million has been allocated across four years to provide all school aged children with an Active Kids Rebate on sporting related costs.

Families will be able to claim up to $100 per school child, per calendar year from 1 January 2018 for after-school, weekend and school holiday sport and active recreation activities.

Parents will be able to register online and can take a sports voucher to a registered sports club or provider to receive their rebate.
