Ausco Modular supplies contemporary, permanent and fast solutions to the education sector’s needs.
A project for the Queensland College of Wine and Tourism in Stanthorpe was completed recently. The challenge was to design and manufacture a solution to compliment the existing $6.5 million purpose-built education and training facility. Ausco Modular’s design team worked closely with the architect of the existing structure, mirroring features such as angled walls and external finishes to deliver a creative, modular building solution.
Central Coast Grammar School has commissioned Ausco Modular to design and construct a 12 x 24 m study and recreation facility for Year 12 students. Modelled on Ausco Modular’s standard learning centre, the building’s unique feature will be the external finishes. The external wall design incorporates a heavy use of Zincalume, used horizontally to wrap the middle of the building’s perimeter and create a banding effect. This will be completed with a custom paint finish on the Zincalume that resembles the pattern on an exercise pad.
The Caboolture East Early Years Centre, partnered by Project Services, has used Ausco Modular for their latest project. Increased enrolments and growth required a large-scale expansion of the centre’s current site through the addition of two new buildings for the centre’s after school care operations and administration hub. Extended verandas link the buildings and the raised hub roof system is designed to introduce natural lighting throughout.
Ausco Modular’s standard range of learning centres offer excellent value for money, and feature 2.7 m high ceilings, two tone-external claddings and extended veranda areas. The VertexTM range has a high raked ceiling, unique clerestory roof sections, innovative external claddings and cantilevered veranda sections.
