Teachers from all across Australia, Philippines and New Zealand will gather again at the 2018 #TTPlay Conference to enjoy a great cohort of speakers and the informative, fun sessions that the conference has come to be known for.

Masterclasses this year will provide insight and instruction into technology teaching. They include:

Technology masterclass – a practical approach to developing a technology plan that works!

Spend one day with the Using Technology Better team unpacking the seven essential elements every school must address in their technology plans.

It’s not often that Google, Apple and Microsoft will agree, and when they do, we should pay attention.  Google, Apple and Microsoft all agree that there are seven essential elements every school must address if you are to succeed.

Attendees will gain a thorough understanding of these seven elements and use Using Technology Better tools and frameworks to evaluate your performance each area and establish your next steps for developing or improving your plan.

Those attending will develop strategic goals for each of these elements and have an implementation plan ready to take back to school.

This day has been designed for senior leaders and best results will be achieved when a Principal is in attendance.

STEAM Masterclass – developing an authentic STEAM / digital technologies plan

The Using Technology Better team will unpack the nine building blocks for an authentic STEAM / Digital technologies curriculum.

After working with hundreds of schools across Australia and New Zealand, Using Technology Better have created a unique framework for developing authentic learning environments that incorporate STEAM and Digital Technologies, whether this be in specialist classrooms or across the entire school with all staff involved.
